Once the drywall goes up, nobody sees inside those walls again. For this lakefront custom home in Lexington, the goal was a permanent record of the framing, plumbing, wiring, and ductwork before the walls closed.

We scanned the house room by room at the framing stage. The owner and builder can measure to any stud, pipe, or outlet box from a laptop, years after the paint dries. A second scan at completion will sit beside this one, so both stages can be compared side by side.

The payoff comes later: faster repairs, safer renovations, and no guessing where to cut or drill.
